"Propelling Growth Through Continued Excellence in Research and Innovation"
The completion of my 160-hour Business Immersion at the MSU-IIT Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO) marked a significant milestone in my academic and professional journey. Throughout the internship, I was given the opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of the office's digital platforms by creating and managing content that strengthened its online presence. Working alongside my fellow interns, I applied the knowledge and skills gained in the classroom to real workplace situations while learning the value of collaboration, adaptability, and professionalism.
This internship provided me with meaningful experiences that deepened my understanding of technology transfer, innovation, and organizational operations. It also allowed me to develop my technical, communication, and creative skills while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. I am sincerely grateful to the KTTO team for their guidance, trust, and encouragement throughout the immersion. The knowledge, experiences, and professional values I gained will serve as a strong foundation for my future career and entrepreneurial endeavors.
Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU–IIT) was part of the first batch of trainees who learned best practices at U.S. research universities such as Johns Hopkins University and Rutgers University. MSU-IIT has since established a Php20 million KTTO building envisioned to become a true hub for knowledge and technology transfer in Mindanao.
